Demetrius Jordan, 20, was drunk (0.154%) and high on marijuana, driving his Chevrolet Impala when he ran a red-phase traffic control signal at Dr. Martin Luther King Street and 22nd Avenue in St. Petersburg, Florida at 0:46 local time 1 August 2010. He struck a Ford Fusion and killed Elroy McConnell, 51; and sons Elroy III, 28; Nathan, 24; and Kelly, 19, and injured another, all of whom were in the Ford.
